We’re delighted that Woldingham School in Surrey is supporting Friends of Rosie over the coming school year.
11-year-old Daisy Larkin, niece of our charity namesake, Rosie, nominated Friends of Rosie as the chosen charity for her house, Digby House. The students seconded Daisy’s nomination and Digby House has already raised a fantastic £400 towards children’s cancer research.
We’ll be sharing news of their fundraising over the coming months. And we give our huge thanks to Daisy, all the students, and Woldingham School for supporting Friends of Rosie.
Sadly, Daisy never got to meet her Aunt Rosie. Rosie died when she was just five years old, long before Daisy was born. Nominating Friends of Rosie at her school is a fantastic way to remember Rosie and keep her legacy alive.
All funds raised will go towards our next research grant call in 2023. Through this grant call, we’ll be kickstarting new research projects aimed at finding kinder and more effective treatments for childhood cancer. Plus, it’s wonderful to see children coming together to fundraise to help other children.
