Our annual print newsletter is out now, giving all our supporters an update on the work of the last year and our focus looking ahead.
We purposely issued the newsletter to coincide with Childhood Cancer Awareness Month as we wanted to focus on the importance of collaboration and partnerships to tackle childhood cancer.
One of our priorities over the past two years has been about building our network and our partnerships with other like-minded charities for the good of children with cancer.
As a small charity, we know that we’ll have far greater impact if we collaborate with others. That collaboration takes many forms. From fundraising together, to jointly funded research projects, to hosting research events.
Rosie’s Friends
Our new fundraising channel, Rosie’s Friends, is a new place where children, parents, families, friends and supporters can come together for the benefit of all children with cancer. They can share their child’s story, fundraise directly in their honour, and help fund new research for the good of all.
Research Update
We’re also delighted to be able to update you on our latest research projects. None of this research would be possible without your kind and generous support.
Our Proton Beam Therapy project has completed its first year, our Ewing Sarcoma project is mid-way through its second year. And our project looking at facial disfiguration in children with head and neck cancers is now complete and has received excellent feedback from our Scientific Advisory Board.
We hope you enjoy this year’s newsletter and please visit the website often to keep up with our latest news.
