A team of members and staff from leading Manchester-based barristers’ Chambers,  Deans Court Chambers, ran this year’s Manchester 10k to help raise money for Friends of Rosie, a local children’s cancer research charity.

Earlier this week, the team presented Friends of Rosie with an impressive cheque amount totalling just over £2,000 as a result of their fundraising efforts. The donation will help the charity to fund pioneering research projects that aim to improve the treatment and diagnosis of children with cancer.

Says Friends of Rosie Chair of Trustees, Felicity Goodey CBE DL: “Our huge thanks go to the team at Deans Court Chambers for both their running and fundraising achievements. Childhood cancer research remains a shockingly underfunded area of cancer research. Support like this helps us to change that by pumping more funding into these vital areas of research, making a difference for children with cancer in the future.”
