This year saw our fourth annual Easter egg raffle fundraiser smash the previous years’ fundraising totals. This Easter we were delighted to raise almost £4,000 thanks to the amazing support of businesses, schools and local communities in and around Manchester.
The huge, handcrafted Easter eggs from Slattery chocolatiers in Bury certainly tempted lots of people to buy tickets this year. With a total of 25 eggs raffled off in support of children’s cancer research, the fundraiser has added pounds to our total and we’re sure to some waistlines!
Our thanks go to: Kids Allowed, Hale Preparatory School, Bridgewater School, St Cuthbert’s Church, esure, Civic Engineers, Slater Heelis, The University of Manchester, the Manchester Cancer Research Centre, Brown Bag Animations, Premex Services, RMS PR, Investec Wealth & Investment, Stranz Hairdressers, Liveseys, and Deans Court Chambers. You’ve all made a huge difference to the research we fund.
Thanks also go to our Easter bunnies who delivered eggs and collected donations from our supporters – we couldn’t do this without you.
A cracking finish to our Spring fundraising. Now on to summer!
