Exchange Chambers raises almost £55k for Friends of Rosie

Exchange Chambers Chief Executive Jonathan I’Anson recently presented Friends of Rosie with a cheque for an incredible £54,786.00!

Members and staff from Exchange Chambers have been fundraising for Friends of Rosie for the past two years.  As a result of Exchange’s efforts, we are now funding a second year of targeted research into Proton Beam Therapy designed to treat sarcomas in children. This project is being carried out at The Christie Hospital in Manchester and will get underway in November.

Presenting the cheque to Friends of Rosie Trustee, Mahesh Vara, Jonathan I’Anson said:

“Friends of Rosie is a fantastic, volunteer-led charity.  It has been a real privilege to support their vital work and to fund a second year of specialist children’s cancer research into Proton Beam Therapy.  I would like everyone at Exchange for making this partnership such a huge success.  It has been a real team effort. I am very proud.”

Felicity Goodey, Chair of Trustees at Friends of Rosie said:

“The support we have received from Exchange Chambers over the last two years has been phenomenal. We couldn’t get pioneering research like this off the ground without such support and we would like to thank everyone who has donated and fundraised as part of the Exchange Chambers charity partnership. The difference it makes to children with cancer is huge.”

Our enormous thanks goes to the team at Exchange Chambers and everyone who donated and fundraised for Friends of Rosie over the past two years during this wonderful partnership.
